thepro Standard
For use in double-sided formwork or under the floor slab.
Thermal insulation and sealing in one product
Proven, efficient process for basement construction: our thepro standard combines thermal insulation and waterproofing in a single product. We combine the additional measure for the white tank, fresh concrete composite foils, with XPS thermal insulation in the factory. Thanks to the tight bond between the waterproofing and thermal insulation and the waterproofing and concrete, the thepro Standard system is leak-proof.
Thanks to this innovation, the white tank is even safer and enables a high-quality finish to the basement. The large-format panels speed up installation, make thermal insulation more efficient and enable work to be carried out in any weather and at any time of year.

Mounting thepro Standard

The thepro floor elements are laid out on a clean layer. The overlaps of the elements are professionally welded with an open flame. A thepro element is installed vertically against the floor slab formwork at the end of the floor slab. The height is based on the end reinforcement.

The floor slab is produced conventionally. After concreting the floor slab, the outer formwork is placed.

The thepro wall elements are placed on the existing thepro element and against the outer formwork. The joints are welded. If necessary, windows are cut out.

If necessary, windows are shuttered. The width of the window formwork is concrete + insulation and is inserted between the two formwork elements. Once the reinforcement has been installed, the internal formwork is fitted. The required wall thicknesses are installed between thepro element and the inner formwork.

The wall is then concreted. The FBV geomembrane creates a monolithic connection between thepro element and the concrete during the hydration process of the concrete. This prevents water from running behind the FBV waterproofing membrane.

Once the formwork has been stripped, the sealing and insulation work is already complete. The working area can be filled in soon.
